Cascade Vows Where love meets adventure

The Dream Book

Northern Lights Elopement

Aurora season, a cabin with a woodstove, and no timeline to keep.

We base ourselves somewhere far north for several nights instead of betting everything on one. Days are for hot springs, snowshoeing and getting ready slowly. Nights are for watching the KP index and running outside in your dress when the sky finally goes green. Because the aurora refuses to be scheduled, this one is built with three ceremony windows instead of one.

  • Destination
  • Winter
  • Dark sky

What it could include

The shape of the day.

  • Multi-night aurora window so the sky gets more than one chance
  • Cabin or lodge scouting with clear northern views
  • Aurora-forecast monitoring and a 20-minute go signal
  • Cold-weather styling, layering and footwear guidance
  • Long-exposure aurora portraits and a daytime session
  • Intimate ceremony coordination with local officiant

Everything above is a starting point, not a fixed package. Tess plans it and photographs it; you book the vendors she lines up, so you hold every contract.

The practical part
